RLSP releases video attacking Nitish govt ahead of Bihar polls

Ahead of the Assembly polls in Bihar, RLSP national secretary general Madhaw Anand released a video, which listed out the shortcomings of the Nitish Kumar government, alleging that nothing had been done to generate jobs and help with the flood situation.

New Delhi: With chances of Bihar state assembly elections being held later this year, the opposition Rashtriya Lok Samta Party hit out at the Nitish Kumar government, accusing it of not working for the people.

RLSP national secretary general Madhaw Anand released a video highlighting the shortcomings of the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar.

The message in the video said, "Kahaan hai aage badta Bihar, chup kyun hai andhi behri sarkar? (Where is the progressive Bihar, why is the blind, deaf government silent?)"

The video alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had done nothing for farmers of the state in the past 15 years, and the situation for farmers was worsening.

Though Bihar has been hit by floods each subsequent year, the Nitish government has taken no steps to mitigate the disaster, RLSP claimed.

RLSP also attacked the Nitish government over the migrant crisis during the COVID-19 lockdown. The video said that since there were no big industries in Bihar, people had no other option but to migrate to other states due to unemployment in Bihar.

The party claimed that though returning migrants were promised jobs, the Nitish government did not fulfil the promise.
