Patna:Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday during his visit to Bihar questioned Congress over its silence on Pakistan's confession regarding the Pulwama attack. Addressing the election meeting in Pirpainti, Motihari and Vaishali region of Bihar, Rajnath Singh said 'some people' also oppose the steps taken for the security of the country.
'We do what we say'
Referring to the Pulwama attack, Rajnath said, "When the attack was mentioned by Pakistan, the Congress was protesting, now when Pakistan has accepted in the assembly, the Congress has kept silence."
Further taking a dig at Congress' long rule, he said, "If the leaders had partially fulfilled the promises made after independence, the fate of the country would have changed."
Referring to the central government's moves such as the Abolition of Section 370 from Kashmir, finding a way to build the Ram temple in Ayodhya, amendment in the citizenship law, Rajnath said "we do what we say."
