PM Modi writes open letter to Bihar voters

Ahead of the third phase of Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote an open letter to the people of Bihar. The Prime Minister expressed faith in the NDA govt in Bihar and said that the Nitish Kumar govt was needed in the state to ensure development.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to the people of Bihar. The PM has mentioned in the letter that the people have faith that only NDA government can develop Bihar.

The Prime Minister said that it was a matter of pride that the focus in Bihar polls has been on development. The PM mentioned in the letter that the NDA has presented its report card and shared its vision for the future.

Modi claimed that the NDA had done work in all sectors in Bihar. Addressing the people in the four-page letter, the PM said that better infrastructure and rule of law are imperative for social and economic prosperity and only NDA is capable of providing that to the people of Bihar.

"I have full faith that the power of 'double engine' will take Bihar to new heights of development in this decade," Modi said in the letter.

The Prime Minister said that he needs the Nitish Kumar govt in Bihar to ensure that the development schemes continue uninterrupted in the state.

The third phase of the polls for 78 seats in Bihar will be held on November 7, and results will be declared on November 10.
