Paswan's views are personal, party does not support it: MLC Sanjay Mayukh

Bihar MLC Sanjay Mayukh has called former union minister Sanjay Paswan's views on Nitish Kumar strictly 'personal'. He said that Janata Dal United will continue its coalition with BJP and that it does not support Paswan's views.

Patna:Sanjay Paswan's, former Union Minister and BJP MLA from Bihar, recent comments on Nitish Kumar have led to a controversy.

He said, "People these days vote in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They have nothing to do with Nitish Kumar."

"Kumar should give BJP a chance for a term and should focus on the centre's politics," Paswan added.

Over this MLC from Bihar and National Media Co-Head Sanjay Mayukh told ETV Bharat that it is 'Paswan's personal statement', the party doesn't support it.

"The Janata Dal United will continue the coalition with BJP, and we will contest Bihar assembly elections together, Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi are doing good work for the development of the Bihar." He added.
