New Delhi: Bihar Congress president Madan Mohan Jha has said the leaders in the state held a meeting with Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, and expressed their desire to make party strong. The agenda of today's meeting was 'how to make the organisation stronger in the state'. Jha said that the entire party is united in the state and claimed there are no differences whatsoever in the party. All 19 MLAs and 4 MLCs will stick to the party. They have reiterated that they will not quit the Congress.

On the question of a new state party president,Jha said that the party high command will decide whether Bihar Congress will get a new president or he will continue to be at the helm. Jha's term is coming to an end. According to sources, Bihar Congress incharge Bhakta Charan Das has suggested the high command appoint MLA Rajesh Sham, a Dalit leader, as the new Bihar Congress president.
