Patna:As many as 384 doctors, health workers and medical staffers of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna have tested positive for coronavirus amid the surging cases of the infection across Bihar.
On Wednesday, Bihar reported nearly 10,455 fresh cases with capital Patna being worst-hit.
Around 70 medical staffers of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) have tested positive for coronavirus delaying the treatment of patients.

Meanwhile, the Bihar government will provide the COVID-19 vaccine free of cost to all above 18 years of age, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on Wednesday.
"The Bihar government will provide COVID-19 vaccine free of cost to all above 18 years of age in the state," Kumar tweeted in Hindi.
