Patna: Taking potshots over the BJP led NDA government at the centre, opposition in Bihar has decided to launch statewide protest over inflation in the country. Leader of opposition in Bihar legislative assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav today announced it during the media briefing held at RJD office. Continuous surge in the prices of essential commodities including petrol and diesel have broken the backbone of the common man. Realising the issue which can make the space for the opposition in Bihar ahead of the monsoon session, opposition leaders will launch the statewide protest.
"The prices of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas are increasing every day. The price rise has broken the backbone of the common man and their livelihoods are in danger. So on 18th July, we have decided to stage a protest at all the blocks in the state followed by a similar protest at all district headquarters on 19th July," Tejashwi Yadav said while accompanied by RJD state unit President Jagdanand Singh at the party office.

Tejashwi further took a jibe at the Narendra Modi government and stressed that earlier the NDA government had talked about 'Achhe Din'(Good days) but the present scenario proves that the government has failed to fulfil their promises.
