New Delhi:Ahead of Assembly polls in Bihar due in October, Congress leader Akhilesh Singh on Thursday said that the voters will vote for the grand alliance in Bihar and not for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
While speaking to ETV Bharat on the dispute between Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata United Dal (JDU), Congress Rajya Sabha MP Akhilesh Singh said, "The fight is between them and they will solve it on their own. I can't comment on their alliance facing trouble."
Taking a jibe on BJP leader Sanjay Paswan on the statement he made saying that the party is capable of winning the elections on its own, Singh said, "He is a known politician and such statement from him will justify whether BJP's alliance with JDU is in trouble or not."
This statement comes on the backdrop of Bihar assembly polls and the fight between the alliance. On Wednesday, BJP MLC, Sanjay Paswan said "People of Bihar want to see a BJP leader as Bihar Chief Minister. BJP is the strongest and most active party in the state."
Adding to this, Singh said "People don't want the government who is destroying the society and economy of our country. So, this assembly polls the voters have made up their mind to vote for the grand alliance."
