Only Lalu Ji can counter the communal forces: Tejaswi Yadav

New Delhi: Bihar Leader of Opposition Tejaswi Yadav said that due to Covid-19, RJD is not celebrating the birthday of Lalu Prasad Yadav. Tejaswi added that only Lalu Yadav can counter the communal forces and he will be soon back in active politics. "He is just meeting family members. He is not fully recovered yet. Lalu Ji is the hope of the poor. His life has been a struggle. Millions are his admirers. Everyone wants him to get well soon and return to active politics. The country needs him. Only Lalu Ji can challenge the communal forces," he added.

He said that the Bihar government has failed in fighting Covid-19. "Covid testing data were hidden. Infected patients were more but fewer numbers were projected. The number of deaths due to Covid-19 was also concealed. According to official figures, 5424 people have died in Bihar from Corona," Tejashwi said.

A a committee was formed to find out the actual number of deaths and after the report of the committee came out, it was found out that 9375 people had died in Bihar till June 7. "The Bihar government only does forgery," he added

"Today is Lalu Prasad Yadav's 74th birthday. He is at the official residence of his daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti in Delhi. The Yadav family is celebrating his birthday as a family occasion," Tejashwi said. On the other hand, RJD is celebrating his birthday as 'Social Justice and Harmony Day'.
