Purnea (Bihar): Incumbent Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday said the ongoing State Assembly polls will be the last election of his political career.

The Chief Minister reportedly made the statement while addressing a poll rally in the state's Purnea.

"You must know that today is the last day (of campaigning) and the day after is the election (third phase of polling). This is my last election. All is well that ends well," Kumar said at the rally.

Polling in 71 and 94 constituencies, out of the 243 Assembly seats in Bihar, was held in the first two phases on October 28 and November 3 respectively.

The remaining 78 seats will go to polls on November 7 and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.
