NDA all set to fight Bihar Assembly polls under Nitish Kumar: BJP

Bihar BJP president on Tuesday confirmed that the NDA will have Nitish Kumar for Chief Minister's candidature. He also added that New Education Policy and self-reliant India campaign will be the most important issue for Bihar elections.

Patna:Bihar BJP president and Lok Sabha MP from Bettiah, Sanjay Jaiswal on Tuesday said that NDA is all set to fight Bihar Assembly polls under Nitish Kumar who would be leading from the front.

Praising the New Education Policy (NEP) and self-reliant India campaign (Atmanirbhar Bharat) he said "It is one of the main challenges of Bihar to adapt itself easily to the New Education Policy. Moreover, the Atmanirbhar package which gives an opportunity for infrastructure development and growth of small-scale industries is just incredible. In fact we have started educating people about it in Bihar."

He also added that BJP has been striving hard to provide a better life to each individual. Further in comparison to previous governments, the condition of education in Bihar has improved to a great extent under Nitish Kumar, MP from Bettiah stated. With the coronavirus tally setting new records everyday, he said, there is no anticipation of Bihar election's postponement, however, whatever Election Commission decides will be of utmost importance.

"The NEP formulated by the Central government and self-reliant India campaign will be our most important issue for Bihar elections," Sanjay Jaiswal told ETV Bharat.

Bihar BJP president also said that the state govt should be applauded for the way it has manoeuvred Bihar deluge. Despite impending threat of loss and destruction, the government has been able to help people in need.
