Aurangabad: Three members of a family, including a two-year-old girl along with two neighbour's children died while many others were injured after fire broke out in a house in Hitampur village in Bihar's Aurangabad. It appears that the blaze was caused by a spark from a stove. Two adjoining houses were partly burnt, said police.
The fire initially broke out in Vinay Bhuniyan's house while the family was cooking in the afternoon. The Bhuniyan family was trapped inside the house as the main entrance had caught fire and there was no way in which they could not escape. Police said Bhuniyan's wife, identified as Geeta Devi (50), his daughter-in-law Renna Devi (20) and grand daughter Rani Kumari (2) were burnt to death. Two children of Bhuniyan's neighbour, identified as Puja Kumari and Dheeraj Kumar also succumbed to their injuries while Bhuniyan's two 20-year-old daughters and one 14-year-old son sustained severe burn injuries.
