Patna: Following the defeat in the recently concluded Bihar assembly elections, the Mahagathbandhan held a review meeting at former chief minister of Bihar and BJP member Rabri Devi's house.
All newly-elected MLAs of the Mahagathbandhan were also present in this meeting held at Rabri residence.
Tejashwi appointed leader of the legislative party
Before the review meeting, a meeting of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Legislature Party was held at Rabri residence under the chairmanship of Tejashwi Yadav. In the meeting, all the newly elected RJD MLAs elected Tejashwi as the leader of the legislative party.

Dipankar target Congress
CPI (ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, who came to attend the meeting of the grand alliance also spoke about reviewing the reasons for the defeat and taking a dig at the Congress said that the party could not even gather 70 seats. He added that if other small parties had been allocated more seats the results would have been different.
RJD biggest Mahagathbandhan party
In the Bihar Assembly elections, the Mahagathbandhan won 110 seats, in which RJD alone won 75 seats. At the same time, Asaduddin Owaisi's party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) got 5 seats, LJP and BSP one each and one seat independent candidate.
