Patna (Bihar): All is definitely not well within the Bihar NDA, as the Lok Janshakti Party is aiming to contest on 143 seats in the state on its own, sources said.
According to sources, the LJP will most likely quit the Bihar NDA, and fight alone on 143 seats in the upcoming state Assembly elections. The party is expected to field candidates against JD(U) on all 143 seats, sources said.
However, the party might still continue to remain in the NDA at the national level, with Ram Vilas Paswan continuing to hold his Union Minister post.
Sources today revealed that LJP National President Chirag Paswan, who is also a Lok Sabha MP, might himself contest in the state elections. Chirag wants to concentrate on Bihar politics and not remain stuck at the national level politics, sources said, adding that he is even eying the Chief Minister's post.
