New Delhi: Kishanganj MP and Indian National Congress leader, Mohammad Jawed has written a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, seeking to increase the facilities in the hospitals of his constituency. He has expressed concern over the increasing number of corona patients in Kishanganj, Bihar.
In his letter, he has asked the Bihar CM to make adequate arrangements on oxygen supply, ventilators, essential medicines for better treatment of Corona patients in all the Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres, and the Sadar Hospital under his Lok Sabha constituency.

He has further mentioned that Kishanganj Sadar Hospital only has 6 ventilators, which is not going to accommodate the rising Covid patients. He wants the number of ventilators increased to 20.

The number of Corona patients in Bihar is increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 12,604 cases have been reported while 85 people have died. The number of Covid infected patients in the state has touched 94,275 while 2307 people have died. The recovery rate in the state has dropped to 77.43 per cent. Bihar has currently imposed a night curfew from 9 pm to 5 am.
