Haven't discouraged from the defeat in by-election: JD(U) leader

According to the JD(U) minister the defeat in the recently concluded by-elections have not effected the party's spirit. The party will be following the ideology and vision of Nitish Kumar to win the upcoming state assembly polls.

New Delhi:The ruling alliance of Bihar, NDA faced a bitter defeat in the recently concluded by-elections. BJP and LJP lost the seats they contested and JD(U) was able to win one seat out of the five seats it contested on.

Minister for Industries in the Government of Bihar Shyam Rajak said that though JD(U) was not able to perform as expected in the by-polls the party workers had not lost their spirit.

"We will now start preparing for the upcoming state assembly polls. Following the ideology and vision of Nitish Kumar, the party will re-emerge as a strong party," said Rajak.

Shyam Rajak slammed BJP MP Giriraj Singh for tweeting an unconventional comments over the win of MIM from Kishanganj constituency in Bihar assembly by-elections.

"If Giriraj Singh thinks that Asaduddin Owaisi is not eligible to form a party, then he should complain it to the Election Commission," the minister said.

Taking a jibe on Giriraj, Rajak said, "He (Giriraj Singh) should concentrate on his ministry. If he is not able to concentrate on his work, he should give up on his responsibilities."
