New Delhi:The Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) on Wednesday appealed to the Centre and Bihar state government to extend the lockdown by 14 days in order to check the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
RLSP general secretary Madhaw Anand opined that the COVID-19 situation was somewhere between stage two and three in India.
Anand appealed to both the Centre and Bihar state government to extend the lockdown period by two more weeks in order to prevent the virus from spreading further.
"We have limited resources. We do not have adequate testing kits. The only option we have is to maintain social distancing and stay at homes," he said, further appealing to the government to ensure that people do not step out of their homes.
