Araria (Bihar):As an increasing number of coronavirus cases continue to wreak havoc among the citizens, police personnel and front-line workers (corona commandos) are trying to make ends meet to keep us safe and secure in this time of crisis.
At a time when the country is practising physical distancing and finding new ways to interact, many people are also looking for ways to connect with the community and show appreciation to valued frontline workers, police personnel and municipal workers.
In a creative tribute, a teacher of Forbesganj College in Bihar, Rajesh Kumar painted the efforts of 'corona commandos', who are ensuring our safety and risking their health to save our lives amid coronavirus outbreak.
Kumar has made creatives with Hindi caption written on it, to acknowledge the efforts of corona commandos fighting COVID-19, which has claimed 56 lives in the country so far.
"Be it the police administration, who is ensuring a smooth run of a lockdown or the health care workers, who are involved in rescuing our lives despite the lack of testing kits, masks and sanitizers. Each and everyone deserves appreciation," said Kumar, who believes that sanitary workers, who are involved in providing a healthy environment, deserve their share of appreciation.
He believes that the way police-administration, health workers and corporation personnel are standing together in the hour of this national crisis, is worthy of all appreciation.
"I want to express my gratitude towards police administration, doctors and municipal cleaners through my paintings," he added.
Earlier, also Kumar has raised awareness on various issues such as child marriage, Beti Bachao - Beti Padhao among others through his paintings.
