CM Nitish Kumar fails to meet the demands of Bihar, says RJD leader

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Amarendhari Singh, who recently filed their nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections in Bihar, said that the Nitish Kumar led Bihar government has ruined the state in terms of economy and eradicating poverty as well as unemployment from the state.

New Delhi:Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Amarendhari Singh, who recently filed their nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections in Bihar, said that the Nitish Kumar led Bihar government has ruined the state in terms of economy and eradicating poverty as well as unemployment from the state.

Slamming the Bihar government, he said that the state capital was awarded the dirtiest city in the country with a population of more than 1 million. This shows their 'development model' for the state.

"This is not the first time that the city has been awarded such a 'prestigious award'. Despite this, the government seems to fail the cleanliness drive initiated by their alliance partner in the Centre", said Singh to ETV Bharat.

Pointed out the concern of the youth, RJD leader asserted that the government has failed to generate employment in the state.

"Soon we would come to know that none of the family members has a male member in the house as all of them prefer other states when it comes to employment. It shows Kumar failed to generate jobs in the state", added Singh.

Bihar has 243 Assembly constituencies and elections in the state are due in October-November as the tenure of the current Assembly is scheduled to end on November 29.

The Election Commission has not yet taken a final call on poll dates in Bihar due to coronavirus pandemic and has sought suggestions from political parties.
