Bomb Threat at Patna Airport, security beefed up

An alert was sounded at the Patna airport and security was beefed up after receiving a threat call to blow up the Patna airport

Patna: The police control room went into a state of a tizzy after receiving a threat call to blow up the Patna airport on Friday.

According to information, an unknown person called on emergency dial number 100 and threatened the police to blow up the Patna Airport. The call was received by a police constable.

The security has been beefed up in and around Jayprakash Narayan International Airport in the state capital and investigation is on into the matter.

Police have arrested a youth even as further investigation is underway to check the seriousness of the threat.
