Botiya (Bihar): Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has seized 50 kg cannabis worth 12.5 crore in the International market and arrested two smugglers near the Indo-Nepal border here, official said.
The smugglers were identified as Ajay kumar and Rajan Kumar, who is from Chapra district.
SSB Acting Commandant Raj Kumar Khalko said that Pantoka Border Outpost (BOP) of SSB 47th Battalion received secret information that a large amount of cannabis is being taken in Scorpio car to Nepal for smuggling.
After receiving the information, SSB jawans sieged the area and started checking vehicles.
