Bihar man claims to own one-acre of land on moon Speaking to ETV Bharat, Neeraj said, "I had a vision, a foresight, that one day I would be able to go to the moon with my family. I am always curious and was searching online for something like this, then I saw an ad on the internet which said,' Lunar Republic Citizenship: Get land on the moon', so I bought it,"
"Since childhood, my dream was to go to the moon. To convert that dream into reality, I have taken one acre of land on the moon. Getting land on the moon is very difficult. It took me almost a year to get land on the moon. I have also recently received Lunar Republic Citizenship and a certificate has been issued by the Lunar Society," Neeraj said.
"I have claims on the land from that society. If their exploration becomes successful, if they succeed in making human tourism on the moon a reality and take control of this land parcel, they will honour the deed as per the map given. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput had also bought a piece of land on the moon. Before him, actor Shah Rukh Khan was gifted a piece of land on the moon by a fan," explained Neeraj.
Neeraj also said that lakhs of people from around the world have purchased plots on moon. He said he trusted the Lunar Republic because, under international treaty about the extraterrestrial property, only such an organisation can claim ownership.
