Bihar ATS arrests six suspects with alleged explosives

On Monday, the Bihar ATS team detained a suspect from Belaganj based on whose statements five other suspects were arrested late at night.

Gaya:Bihar Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) on Monday arrested six people from a private hotel in the Kotwali police station area and recovered a suspicious, explosive like object from them.

According to the information, all the suspects were staying in a private hotel on Gurdwara Road under Kotwali police station for the last 10 days. Some of the suspects taken into custody were identified as residents of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar.

After getting tipped off about a large amount of foreign currency and fake currency in the district, the ATS conducted raids at the hotel.

They found the explosive substance and took it along with the suspects near the Falgu River for further inspection. However, the alleged explosive hasn't been defused yet.

The district administration and the ATS have not made the information regarding these arrests public yet.
