Aurangabad (Bihar): An awareness programme - 'No Voter Should Be Left', organised by the district administration, here, recieved unprecedented support from women, as more than 50,000 of them pledged to vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
For the past several weeks, district administration officials, under the guidance of the District Election Officer, have been organising awareness and orientation programmes for the voters, gearing up for the 2019 elections.
District Collector Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal remarked that the campaign was aimed at 'ethics and morality of voting', further asserting that the programmes were organised in all the blocks.
"It was during the programme that more than 50,000 woman have sworn to cast their vote in the upcoming elections. It is probably a record, as women in huge numbers have vowed to vote," he added.
