2020 political harvest: Parties to stress over Agri Bills

Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 will be a matter of social, economical and political affair where political parties will fight for power by targetting the current government over the implementation of economic and social reforms and state development at par.

Patna: Political parties in Bihar are engaged in the cultivation of issues and sowing of promises for the political battle to gain power in the state during the 2020 Assembly Elections. Each party is busy in creating new equations to evaluate their chances of winning the polls amid escalating tension between the NDA government and the opposition in the centre over the Agriculture Reform Bills.

All political parties in Bihar have entered the electoral arena following which Chief Minister and JDU Chief Nitish Kumar has camped at the party office. Kumar is constantly engaged in discussions with activists and senior leaders of the party over election strategies. On Tuesday, Kumar heard the grievances of the people till 9 pm at the party office while on Wednesday he reached the party office at 11 am.

BJP will be contesting elections on the policies of Nitish Kumar following which NDA workers are receiving commands from him to work on the ground level.

On the other hand, RJD's Tejashwi Yadav is also busy in setting equations on different issues following which staging protest against Centre's Agri Bill on September 25 will be the main highlight. RJD will hold protests all over Bihar over farmers' issues.

However, everything is not going well in RJD after former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi broke the grand alliance.

Meanwhile, Upendra Kushwaha is also disillusioned from the grand alliance. On Thursday, Kushwaha has called for a meeting of all the big party leaders to take further decision.

Bihar administration also witnessed a sir on Wednesday with DGP Gupteshwar Pandey taking VRS from his services amid speculations of his entry into political corridors through NDA.

Many powerful people are trying to please political parties to try their luck into Bihar politics. They are presenting their applications for getting tickets from political parties.
