Agartala (Tripura):In an ambitious move, Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) is all set to host the first-ever Brazil Cultural Festival in November. The festival will be organised in collaboration with the Brazilian embassy in India in an attempt to exchange social, cultural and linguistic values and also to showcase Tripura's folk culture in the international arena.
Kamal Kaloi, Executive Member of TTAADC for Animal Husbandry Department, made this announcement shortly after a delegation of the TTAADC members met the Brazilian Ambassador to India with an aim to begin fresh ties with the country and solicit technical guidance on various aspects.
Addressing the 12th Foundation Day ceremony of Tripura Tribal Folk Music College at Khumulwng, Kaloi said, “ The prime motive of organising the festival is the exchange of cultural values.”
