Guwahati:Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Thursday said that BJP will form the next government in Assam adding that the party will fare better than 2016 in the forthcoming assembly polls.
The BJP central leadership has appointed Narendra Singh Tomar and Jitendra Singh as the in-charge for Assam ahead of the elections.
"BJP will secure more seats in Assam this time than 2016. There were huge corruption and worsening law and order five years back and the people of Assam know that. The BJP government at the state and Centre had initiated development in this part of the country," Singh said in Guwahati.
