Assam: Amguri MLA busy farming

In a photo that has gone viral, Pradip Hazarika, an MLA from Assam's Amguri legislative constituency, could be seen sowing paddy in a farmland.

Amguri: In a rare sight, an MLA from Assam's Sivsagar district's Amguri legislative constituency Pradip Hazarika was seen sowing paddy in an agricultural field in his native village.

In a photo that has been doing the rounds on social media, Hazarika and his daughter-in-law can be seen smeared in mud and engrossed in cultivating their farmland, along with other farm labourers.
