Telangana's TRS backs 'Bharat bandh' by farmers

Hyderabad (Telangana State): The Telangana Rashtra Samithi party expressed its full support to the farmers strike on the 8th of this month against the agricultural laws brought by the Center. TRS president, Chief Minister KCR announced that their party will directly involve in Bharat Bandh on December 8th against central government.

KCR defended the farmers saying that they were fighting for justice against the agricultural laws brought by the Center. The CM recalled that TRS had already opposed these laws in Parliament as they were likely to harm the interests of the farmers.

He believes the fight needs to continue until the new agricultural laws are repealed. He said that TRS would work for the success of the Bharat Bandh. CM KCR appealed to the Telangana people to stand by the farmers.
