Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh): In yet another heartbreaking incident involving the plight of migrant workers, a man in Andhra Pradesh was seen walking towards his home state Chhattisgarh, carrying his two kids on a shoulder pole.
The man, who identified himself as Bihari, is a native of Chhattisgarh, and was working in Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa.
With no means of income during the lockdown, Bihari chose to embark on an over 1,000-kilometre-long monumental trek from Kadapa to his home state with his family of eight.
Bihari carried his two kids on a doli (shoulder pole). The kids were sitting on two baskets tied to a pole slung across Bihari's shoulders.
The family, which had set-off on the journey from Kadapa on May 7, made their way to Kurnool district, and were walking towards Yemmiganur from Adoni, when they were spotted by cops.
