West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh): The authorities of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh has ordered that as many as 19 people of Kalla police station be under home quarantine till April 28.
According to sources, the son of a head constable, who works at the police station, had recently been found COVID-19 positive. The constable's son had arrived from Delhi recently.
The victim was taken to a nearby isolation centre. The head constable and victim's family members have been ordered by the doctor to remain in self-isolation for 28 days, sources said.
Following this, today the district sub-collector has instructed that as many as 19 police personnel, who are working in Kalla police station will be under home quarantine for 28 days, sources added.
