Vijayawada: Flight services affected due to Corona

Flight services at Vijayawada International Airport have been hit by the continuing Coronavirus crisis. Several airlines have curtailed flight operations from the airport.

Vijayawada:The flight services in Andhra Pradesh has been hit by the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. People are not willing to travel on flights and therefore, many airlines have cancelled their flight services at Vijayawada International Airport.

Several airlines have either cancelled their services or have reduced the frequency of flight services due to flight capacity being less than 30 per cent.

Spicejet and Indigo have suspended flight services to Chennai and Hyderabad for few days. Indigo has further cancelled the Hyderabad-Tirupati Special, Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam link service along with another flight service to Hyderabad, which is scheduled at 8.45 pm.
