Prakasam (Andhra Pradesh): In a bid to crack 2020 Olympics, Kashaboina Mahesh, an athlete from Bestavaripeta village has set a new record by running 100 kms in ten hours.
Kashaboina Mahesh runs 100 km in 10 hours He started running at 11:20 on Thursday night and finished at 9:30 on Friday morning.
Mahesh, who wants to serve the Indian Army and has participated in five national-level competitions, is an avid runner. He said that his goal is to qualify for the 2020 Olympics.
He further said that with more practice, he would complete 100 kms run in less than 8 hours.
