Chittoor: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chinna Rajappa on Monday alleged that the results of the state assembly elections were questionable as they were completely unexpected.
"People might have wanted a change of power but TDP's rout (and its margin of losing) in the elections was completely unexpected. I suspect there is something fishy in this," said Rajappa.
However, the former Deputy Chief Minister said that TDP would obey people's mandate.
Speaking on the leadership skills of former CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Rajappa said, "There is no leader like Naidu who, despite the absence of funds, gave a direction to the state. People will understand that soon."
