Andhra Pradesh police bag 48 SKOCH awards

The State police department has won 37 awards so far. It has now won 48 awards in different categories of SKOCH awards. Thus the Andhra Pradesh police have won a total of 85 awards and stands in the first position in the country with the highest number of awards.

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): Adding yet another feather to its hat, the Andhra Pradesh Police bagged 48 SKOCH awards in the use of technology, out of a total of 84 awards for various state police departments in the country.

While the Andhra Pradesh stood at the top position with 48 awards; Kerala stood at second position with nine awards. Maharashtra and West Bengal shared the third position with four awards each.

The State police department has won 37 awards so far. It has now won 48 awards in different categories of SKOCH awards. Thus the Andhra Pradesh police have won a total of 85 awards and stands in the first position in the country with the highest number of awards.

The DISHA services for women safety bagged five awards for technology services. The recently introduced Andhra Pradesh Police Seva App, which provides 87 services, has also won an award. Police welfare activities during COVID-19 time bagged three awards.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and DGP Gautam Sawang congratulated the State police for bagging a grand total of 85 awards this year.
