Andhra police stops migrant workers at Prakasam-Guntur border

Andhra police stopped thousands of migrant workers at Prakasam-Guntur border. They were reportedly returning to their homes with their families in as many as 50 vehicles.

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): Amid nationwide lockdown in the country, thousands of migrant workers were stopped by the police at the Prakasam-Guntur border in Andhra Pradesh.

The workers were reportedly travelling with their families in as many as 50 vehicles from Kurnool to Guntur district.

As per reports, they are blocked there since Friday.

It is to be noted that some of them have cooking equipment with them using which they cook food there itself, while water is being supplied to them through tankers.
