3-yr-old boy dies after consuming expired chocolates

In an unfortunate incident in Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari, a toddler died after eating stale chocolates. A case has been registered and the police have started the investigation.

West Godavari: A three-year-old boy died while his two friends got seriously ill after consuming expired chocolates in Butteyagudem village in Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari on Sunday evening.

The deceased boy named Abhicharan consumed decayed chocolates and shared it with two of his friends, Santosh and Rahul after returning from playing outside.

After a while, all three boys started vomiting and Abhicharan lost his conscience.

They were immediately rushed to hospital where Abhicharan died while undergoing treatment. According to doctors, Santosh and Rahul are currently in a stable condition.

The police have registered the case and started the investigation.
