New York: Alexander Zverev reached his first Grand Slam final in spectacular fashion after coming from two sets down to beat Pablo Carreno Busta on Friday.
Zverev needed three hours and 23 minutes before securing a 3-6, 2,6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 victory. He awaits the winner of the second semi between Daniil Medvedev and Dominic Thiem.
With this win, Zverev became the first German man to reach the US Open singles final since Michael Stich in 1994.
