Hyderabad: 2019 was a mixed year for Indians in sports. However, with the start of the new decade in 2020, there is a lot to look forward to in the sporting world.
The biggest multi-sport event, the Olympic Games, is scheduled to be held in Tokyo from July 24 and India will be eyeing to better their performance from the Rio Games wherein the country won just two Olympic medals.
In the world of cricket, The women's team will play the T20 World Cup in Australia from February while Virat Kohli-led men's team will take a trip Down Under for the T20 World Cup in October and November. The men's team are also set to tour New Zealand January 24 onwards while they host Australia from the month of November.
