New York: Michael Barisone, who was a member of the US dressage team in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, was on Friday charged with two counts of attempted murder in New Jersey.
- The 54-year-old, who now trains others in the sport, was charged by the police after a woman sustained multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday afternoon at his training facility.
- He was also charged with two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
