Bilaspur: Ajay Thakur, who is India's only Kabaddi player to have received the Arjuna Award along with the Padma Shri award, in an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, said that the players in the Police department of Himachal state should get facilities as the army players get.
"In the Army, players get time to learn the game in camps and stay in touch with sports throughout the year. Due to which the result of Army players remains 100 per cent. If the Himachal government also provides such facilities to the players posted in the police then the level of the players will also go upwards. Himachal players often fail to perform better due to less camp and less time in sports."
