Hangzhou (China): The incredible form of the Indian shooters continued here on Sunday as the Indian women's team secured a podium finish in the Trap event taking the country's medal tally to 40.
The trio of Manisha Keer, Preeti Rajak and Rajeshwari Kumari scored 337 points to end up behind China who topped the event. China were the dominant side in the fray as they were at the top place with a score of 356.
Preeti registered a score of 112 while her teammate Manisha scored 114. The third member of the team Rajeshwari concluded the event with an individual score of 111.
Notably, Manisha was involved in a shoot-off to book her birth in the final and the shooter kept her precision intact at the crucial juncture and entered into the final of the individual event. The Indian shooters have been going strong in the ongoing Asian Games putting in India's best-ever shooting performance.
