Hangzhou: Indian shooters Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar won a silver medal in the men's 50m Rifle 3 positions final on Friday after he finished with an aggregate score of 459.7 at the Asian Games underway at China's Hangzhou.
India's Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar missed on podium top finish as he ended his campaign with a silver in men's 50m rifle 3-positions at the Asian Games. He finished second only after China's Du Linshu who registered a record score of 460.6 while home team shooter Tain Jiaming finished third behind Aishwary with a score of 448.3.
The biggest setback, though, was for Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale, who was leading the chart for major part claim a gold slipped to fifth position after a poor shot of 7.6 in the 'standing position', which virtually eliminated him from the race even though he scored 10.5 and 10.1 in his last two shots. He finished on fourt position with a total of 438.9.
