London: Premier League club Arsenal have reportedly agreed to terminate Mesut Ozil's contract this week and the German is expected to join Fenerbahce in the coming days.

If the reports are to be believed then the negotiations are going on between both the parties. And it has been learnt that Ozil will not receive £7 million in wages he is owed by the club, instead, he will join Fenerbahce as a free agent.

The Turkish club land Ozil after they outbid MLS side D.C. United from the competition. Ozil will travel to Turkey this weekend ahead of signing for Fenerbahce.

The reports further say that the mid-fielder will say his goodbye tomorrow to his teammates.

The 32-year-old has not played for the Gunners since March and his £350,000-a-week deal was set to expire at the end of the current season.

Arsenal signed Ozil in 2013 from La Liga giants Real Madrid for a whopping £42.4m deal, it was also a club record then. Ozil made 184 appearances for North London based club and won three FA Cups with the side.
