La Bombonera: Argentine Primera Division side Boca Juniors paid an emotional tribute to Diego Maradona on Sunday, with his daughter Dalma sat in the box they used to share together.
Dalma watched two of her father's former sides face each other in the Copa Diego Armando Maradona, as Boca hosted Newell's Old Boys.
Colombia midfielder Edwin Cardona opened the scoring with a free-kick after 12 minutes and the Boca players celebrated by laying a Maradona shirt on the La Bombonera pitch in front of his box, which brought tears to Dalma's eyes.
Boca players also gathered at the end of the match to applaud and Dalma acknowledged their gesture.
Legendary Argentinian footballer Maradona, who led his country to glory at the 1986 World Cup, suffered a heart attack at his home in Buenos Aires last Wednesday. He was 60-years-old.
