Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo has again tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, media reports claimed.
Under the circumstances, the Portugal captain may not participate in the UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Barcelona.
Ronaldo was first tested positive on October 14. Although, the Portugal football federation had said that the footballer was asymptomatic.
Amidst all the confusion on whether Ronaldo will feature for Juventus, some reports said that the 35-year-old should test negative 24 hours ahead of the match against Barcelona.
Another report said that as per UEFA rules, a player must test negative a week prior to the match. The fixture is scheduled to be held on 28th.
The match would witness Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the first time since the latter left Real Madrid.
