Madrid: Real Madrid has reportedly signed Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt for $67 million on Tuesday.
Jovic became one of Europe's most in-demand players after scoring 17 Bundesliga goals and 10 more in Frankfurt's run to the semifinals of Europa League 2018-19.
Earlier, it was also learnt that Barcelona was said to be interested in signing Jovic and reportedly scouted the Serbia striker as it hunts for a long-term successor of Luis Suarez.

However, it is Real Madrid which sealed a deal for Jovic who signed a five-year contract with Los Blancos as they look to rebuild their team under Zinedine Zidane.
Jovic became the second player to join the club since Zidane's return at the helm, with a $56 million move for Porto defender Eder Militao concluded in March.
Eintracht has made a massive profit on the 21-year-old as it only trigged a purchase option in his loan deal from Benfica for a reported €6m in April.
