Kingston: Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman on Monday praised the West Indies over their nail-biting one-wicket win over Pakistan in Sabina Park. Laxman was impressed by senior pacer Kemar Roach and teenage fast bowler Jayden Seales playing a big part in sealing the victory for West Indies.
"What an incredible Test Match win by West Indies at Sabina Park. The kind of wins you cherish a lifetime. Great to see the manner in which they have registered some of their recent Test wins. Roach was brilliant and what an impressive future lies ahead of young Jayden Seales," wrote Laxman on Twitter.
Jayden Seales bagged his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket to bowl out Pakistan for just 203. Finishing with 5/55, he also became the youngest West Indies bowler to pick up a five-wicket haul in Test cricket at 19 years and 338 days.
