Southampton: Emphasising that New Zealand side is accustomed to playing in swinging conditions at home, pacer Kyle Jamieson feels it is important to be mindful of the Dukes ball and not get carried away while searching for swing as it can get counterproductive.
The Kiwis use Kookaburra ball at home and will play two Tests against England before taking on India at the World Test Championship (WTC) in England. Dukes ball as compared to Kookaburra offers more swing to the bowlers.
"You don't want to start trying to move the ball two sets of stumps and then get caught on the bounce," he said during an interaction with the media.

In six Test matches, the right-arm fast bowler, who made his Test debut against India in February 2020, has an impressive record with 36 wickets to his name.
