New Delhi: Sanath Jayasuriya will coach a Melbourne club, Mulgrave from the next season. The ambitious suburban club will have the services of the former Sri-Lankan cricketer for one year.
This coaching stint will also be Jayasuriya's return to the game after a two-year ban for breaching the ICC anti-corruption code in February 2019.
"Dilshan opened the door for us there, and it was a fantastic opportunity that was presented to us. We just had to work on it and come to an agreement, and we have," ESPNcricinfo quoted Mulgrave president Malin Pullenayegam.
